Complete filmography

From cinema to theater, from classic music to television programs, Riz Ortolani’s is the production of an orchestra director and composer with a multifaceted artistic personality always able to extend his range. His cinematographic career starts in the early 60’s, a short while after collaborating with the American studios and with directors like De Sica, Risi, Zeffirelli, Young, Dmytryk and others. Then, long associations with Damiano Damiani (La Piovra [The Octopus]) and Pupi Avati follow. Many of his scores achieve veritable cult status, but Riz does not stop. He continues to experiment and beginning in 2001 creates a series of projects tied to the theater: from symphony works to ballets and even musicals.
